"Give the conditions" is too little.

The manager can’t pick the right conditions if he doesn’t know the source, the GEO, and the volume. The more specific the first message, the less time it takes to clarify.

Minimum brief

  • source of traffic;
  • a link to the site or a description of the campaign;
  • target GEO;
  • the expected test volume;
  • Desired model: CPA, RevShare or Hybrid
  • Experience with similar sources, if relevant
  • Do you need help with creativity or postback?

Example of structure

You don’t have to write a long letter. There is enough logic: “SEO-project, KZ and AZ, we plan to start with 30-50 FTD per month, we want to compare RevShare and Hybrid, we use SubID, we need a list of allowed formats and current materials.”

Such a brief immediately creates several points for a substantive answer.

What not to write

Don't promise a volume that isn't there yet. It is better to give the range of the test and explain at what indicators you are ready to scale. This is more useful than the phrase “we can pour a lot.”

After approval

Save the final parameters in one place. After a month, there should be no question of what rate or KPI was agreed at the start.

It is possible to pass through for preparation. launch checklist open the page trafficker.

Prepare the numbers, even if this is the first test.

If there are no historical FTDs, you can give a forecast by clicks, budget, or audience size and explicitly state that it is a score. Honest range is more useful than promises of exact volume, which has not yet been confirmed.

Separate the issues into mandatory and secondary

First, close what you can’t run a campaign without: model, GEO, source, limitations, link, and analytics. Questions about additional creativity or future scale can be discussed after agreeing on the basis.

Turn the conversation into a launch note

After correspondence, collect the final conditions with one note and send to the manager: “Is it correct that we fixed it?” This reduces the risk that the two parties have different interpretations of the oral agreement.

What to update when scaling

If the volume has increased several times, report it in advance, especially with CPA and cap. Conditions that were comfortable for the test do not necessarily automatically extend to a new volume level.

One Source – One Context

If you’re running SEO, social and paid traffic at the same time, it’s best to describe them in separate lines. Each channel may have different terms and issues, and the total volume of “100 FTDs” says little about the structure.

Apply only useful materials

Screen statistics, a link to the site or an example of creativity is more useful than a dozen presentations. The manager needs to understand the origin of the audience and the format of the work, rather than evaluating the beautiful packaging.

After the answer, ask a control question.

Before starting, make sure that the source selected and the GEO are aligned for the specific model. This is a simple final check that prevents many disputes later.
