Introduction
Content for iGaming-partner: what format to choose for the task of the user
Content doesn’t become useful just because it’s long, contains a keyword, or ends in a CTA. First, you need to understand what question the person came to the page with. The format of the material should correspond to this issue.
Instead of a universal list of “most conversion formats”, it is more useful to divide content according to intention: learn, compare, check, calculate or go to the conditions.
Formats and tasks
| The user's task | Format | What do you have to give |
|---|---|---|
| conceptualize | short-guide | definition, formula, example |
| compare | comparative | common criteria and table |
| launch | checklist | sequence |
| mistake | diagnostics | Symptoms and reasons for testing |
| Evaluate a GEO | Localized guide | Language, user journey, payment methods and mobile context |
| calculate | calculator + explanation | formula, fields, limits of calculation |
| experience | case-checker | Initial data, methodology, limitations |
Review without own contribution - a weak format
If the material retells general information and leads further along the affiliate link, the user receives almost nothing from the intermediate page. The review should have its own job: structure rules, show differences, test the scenario, collect answers to frequent questions, or present its own observations that can be corroborated.
Do not come up with “real cases”, conversion percentages and campaign results if the initial data is not available. For example, it is better to write directly that the figures are illustrative.
Table is more useful than the list of advertising epithets
The comparison becomes stronger when the same parameters are put into the lines: payment model, criterion of action, hold, cap, formula NGR, GEO, method of attribution. The reader sees the differences without having to search for them in paragraphs.
Videos and short formats
Video is convenient for displaying an interface or sequence of actions, but it does not replace text where the user needs to quickly find a condition or formula. A good schema is a video for demonstration plus a brief text squeeze and links to primary conditions.
For social media, a short format can lead to detailed material, but the promise in the video must match what the person will see after the transition.
Cases and research
The case makes sense when you can explain:
- the initial situation;
- What exactly has been changed?
- What period was compared?
- What metrics were used;
- What else might have affected the outcome?
- which data are anonymized;
- Which conclusion can be repeated and which only applies to a particular campaign.
Without this, the “case” turns into an advertising story.
How to Build a Content Cluster
One big article doesn’t have to answer everything at once. For example, a hub for partner models can lead to individual materials about RevShare, NGR, negative carryover, CPA KPI and Hybrid. Each URL receives an independent intent, and the user – a clear route.
What to Check Before Publication
- The material answers a separate question, and does not duplicate the next page.
- the title corresponds to the actual content;
- Numbers have a source or are marked as a training example;
- commercial references are separated from editorial content;
- author and date indicated;
- There are internal links only where they really help.
- There are no promises of guaranteed financial results.
